Stryken to Release "First Strike" on cd!

Girder Records, the company who just brought you Whitecross - Nineteen Eighty Seven will be re-releasing the 80's Christian Metal album, Stryken - First Strike for the first time ever on CD. The entire album will be digitally mastered from the original reels, and will include special bonus material including their single Surprise, formerly only available on the 12" single LP and Cassette. Release date is tentatively scheduled for sometime in late 2005 or early 2006.

Stryken, released their debut album First Strike on Chrystal Records in 1986 and followed it up with a 12" single a few months later with the song Rock On on side one and Surprise on side 2. To date the song Surprise never made it onto a full length album until now. Surprise will be added to this specially digitally mastered release. According to Joey Knight, this album was never mastered to begin with, so fans will be in for a great "surprise", (pun intended).
